INTRODUCTIONS
Hello everyone! I’ve decided to create this blog to share my experience with the weight loss program NUTRISYSTEM. If you are in doubt and don’t know if this is the right program for you this blog might be helpful.
I’ve purchase a 14-day package under the weekly order, mainly because I did not want to risk my money on a 30-day supply that I wasn’t sure if I was going to like. To set the record straight I’m not an overweight person but wished to lose 10 lbs I’ve gained over the winter.
I placed my order on the weekend and got it in my house in 3 business days. Pretty good for standard shipping! I ordered the Woman’s Basic Plan, part of their new “advanced program”. I was really surprised to see that NOTHING in the advanced plan requires refrigeration. I began quite concerned about eating boxed food, preserved by chemicals, for 2 weeks. But anyways, I was still excited to start my program!
When you order Nutrisystem you received every main dish of each meal plus one snack/dessert a day. You are supposed to complement your diet with 2 servings of vegetables, 1 salad, 2 fruits, 1 serving of fat and 2 dairy or protein servings a day. They also have a good online tool to help you keep track of your food & water intakes, weight, body measurements and exercise. All the food in the Woman’s Plan should add up to 1.200 calories a day.
